Teso La Monja
Teso La Monja leads the way for the Toro appellation. The world-renowned Eguren family had been the powerhouse behind the transformation of the region for over a decade already before they acquired prized land to create Teso la Monja in 2007.
Winemaker Marcos Eguren demonstrates an obsession for the fruit and an extreme respect for the land, defined by the power and elegance in his wines. The vines make these very special as they have an average age of over 50 years while Alabaster and Victorino are made from pre-phylloxera vines of over 100 years in age.
Teso La Monja was awarded "Best Winery of the Year" by the Penin Guide 2013.
